The Oglethorpe track and field teams closed out their season with a handful of individual performances at the Dr. Keeler Invitational in Napierville, Illinois, on Friday.
Sophomore Kayla Trice led the way with a fourth-place finish in the 100-meter dash, posting a time of 12.37 seconds. Meanwhile, junior Arielle Shaw finished ninth in the triple jump competition, posting a leap of 36 feet, 4.25 inches.
On the men's side, junior Rodrigo Meade finished 55th in the 1500-meter run, posting a time of 4:09.7. Meanwhile, freshman Jacob Hadden clocked in with a 9:51.3 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, putting him in 48th place in that event.
This event marked the end of the 2018 season for the Stormy Petrels, and they'll be back in 2019 as they look to move up the conference standings.
