Luke Whelan of the Oglethorpe men's soccer team has been named the SAAC Male Athlete of the Week for his efforts in the team's pair of shutout victories at the Seahawk Classic over the weekend.
Whelan had an outstanding weekend at the Seahawk Classic. Whelan did not allow a goal in 180 minutes of action. He recorded a total of seven saves in a pair of shutouts.
