Petrels Add Plaisted to 2011-12 Recruiting Class

Men's lacrosse head coach Tom Higgins announced the signing of yet another member to the 2011-12 recruiting class with the outstanding addition of attack Coleman Plaisted (pictured in black)of Spartanburg, S.C.

Plaisted is a 10-year veteran of the sport of lacrosse and served as senior captain of his Spartanburg High School squad just last season. His committment to the sport and never-say-die attitude will serve him well on the field for an Oglethorpe team that is starting to take nice shape.

"We look forward to Coleman joining the program this fall," said coach Higgins, adding, "he will find himself on the field early and often as a freshman and I know he'll be up to the challenge."
