"Gillespie optimizes what it means to be a team player," said Oglethorpe head coach Nathan Young. "Whether it means taking faceoffs, playing defense, or even playing in goal, he will do whatever is best for the team. If we had a team full of guys with his spirit, we would be a great team. I am glad he is finally getting recognized for his contributions on the field."
