McConnell, Koch Named All-SCAC Soccer Sportsmanship Athletes
The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) today announced its second annual Mens and Womens Soccer All-Sportsmanship teams and Oglethorpe players Harrison McConnell and Kristen Koch have been selected. Twenty three mens and womens soccer players were selected to the 2009 squad.

Phillips, Arola Named All-SCAC Third Team
Oglethorpe University freshman midfielder Courtney Phillips of Stockbridge, Georgia and senior midfielder Ryanne Arola of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan have been named as members of the 2009 All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Third Team.

Women Topped by Tigers in Season Finale
The Oglethorpe University women's soccer team lost to the Sewanee Tigers in their final contest of the season on Saturday afternoon, 3-1. The game was preceded by senior day ceremonies as Oglethorpe said goodbye to four-year starter Ryanne Arola.
