Frisby joined Oglethorpe in the summer of 2012 after previously serving as the women's assistant basketball coach at Rhodes College from 2008-12. She has served under two head coaches at Oglethorpe, coaching a team that has more than doubled their win total over the last two years from the previous two.
The Petrels have greatly improved under her watch, going from a 5-21 record her first year with the team to a 21-8 mark this year, culminating in an SAA championship and a conference regular-season crown. The 2017-18 Oglethorpe team also marked the first time that a team that Frisby has coached has competed in the NCAA tournament.
During her time with Rhodes, they compiled an overall record of 54-51, which included a record of 18-9 in 2011-12. Rhodes also qualified for the conference tournament every season during her four years and finished the 2011-12 season ranked third nationally in turnovers per game.
A 2008 graduate of the University of Alabama, Frisby has a Bachelor's of Education and majored in exercise and sport science with concentrations in business, fitness and coaching.
