    The Oglethorpe women's soccer team equaled their best start to a season since 2010 Wednesday evening, advancing to 6-0 on the campaign with a 2-0 win over the visiting Agnes Scott Scotties at the Oglethorpe Track and Field. The Stormy Petrels have yet to allow a goal over their first six games of the season, a stretch of 540 minutes.

    The Oglethorpe women's soccer team continued its unbeaten streak to start the season Sunday evening at the Oglethorpe Track and Field, beating the visiting Huntingdon Hawks 3-0 to improve to 5-0 on the young season. That mark extended the program's best start since 2010, when the Stormy Petrels started the season 6-0.

    The Oglethorpe women's soccer team improved to 4-0 Friday evening with a 2-0 win over Bob Jones in their home opener at the Oglethorpe Track and Field. The Stormy Petrels tallied a pair of goals off free kicks in the game's final 21 minutes to claim victory. Four straight victories to start the season marks the program's best start to a campaign since 2010, when the Petrels won their first six.

    The Oglethorpe women's soccer team continued their outstanding run of play to start the season Sunday afternoon at the Bradford Classic in Demorest, blanking the Averett Cougars 3-0 on a neutral field to begin the season a perfect 3-0. The Stormy Petrels got goals from junior forward Medina Besic and senior forward Kayla Trice, in a addition to an Averett own goal, en route to the victory.
  • Women's soccer routs LaGrange 4-0, improves to 2-0 on season

    The Oglethorpe women's soccer team traveled just southwest of Atlanta to LaGrange Friday evening for their first true road game of the season. The Stormy Petrels passed the test with flying colors, scoring three goals in the second half en route to a 4-0 win over the homestanding LaGrange Panthers. The result improved the team to 2-0 on the young season.

    The Oglethorpe women's soccer team's home opener against Allen, originally scheduled for Tuesday evening, has been postponed due to the potential effects of Hurricane Dorian on South Carolina, where Allen is located. The game is expected to be rescheduled.

    The Oglethorpe women's soccer team hung tough against Benedictine (Illinois) Friday night at the Grand Park Sports Campus in Westfield, Indiana, and earned a late game-winner from freshman midfielder Kieran Burkey to secure a 1-0 win over the Eagles.

    The Oglethorpe women’s soccer team returns to the field this weekend, with a neutral-site game on Friday and their home opener on Tuesday at the Oglethorpe Track and Field.  The Stormy Petrels look to improve on their 4-12-1 overall record and 1-5-1 SAA mark from the 2018 season, and will start the season with a challenging set of games leading into their October conference slate.
