ATLANTA – The Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels battled Belhaven and the cold weather, but ultimately came away with a 7-2 victory against the Blazers.
Sam Wasko had the quickest match of the day as he recorded a 6-1, 6-0 victory in No. 4 singles. Daniel Cohen won 6-0, 6-3 in No. 2 singles, and Jefferson Page went 6-0, 6-4 in No. 6 singles. Cameron Burkes won 6-1, 6-4 in No. 3 singles.
It was all wins in doubles as Burkes and Tony Molinet recorded an 8-1 victory in No. 3 doubles, while Cohen and Page recorded an 8-3 victory in No. 2 doubles and Kirkman Kiker and Wasko won 8-4 at No. 1 doubles. Â
