Beginning July 1, 2021, student-athletes are permitted to earn compensation for their name, image or likeness (NIL). Oglethorpe supports student-athletes receiving compensation for the use of their NIL from sources outside the University and has developed a policy in compliance with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and Title 20, Chapter 3, Sec. 680 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated.
