ATLANTA – The Stormy Petrels swept the Huntingdon Hawks 9-0, and Oglethorpe's women's tennis team moved to 3-0 for the season so far.
Sydney Dattilo recorded a 6-0, 6-2 victory in No. 1 singles, Alyssa Merletti won 6-2, 7-5 at No. 2 singles, Brianna Ali a 6-0, 6-1 victory in No. 3 singles, Alexis Salgueiro went 6-2, 6-1 in No. 4 singles, and Taylor Glover triumphed 6-1, 6-0 in No. 5 singles.Â
In No. 1 doubles, Dattilo and Izzy Forster combined for a clean 8-0 victory over Huntingdon's Meredith Head and Alonda Weaver. Merletti and Salgueiro won 8-4 at No. 2 doubles.

- This was the first time the Petrels faced the Hawks since 2014, which resulted in a 6-3 win for Oglethorpe.Â
- Oglethorpe's record against Huntingdon is now 2-4 since 2010.
