CONWAY, Ark. - The Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels defeated the Hendrix Warriors 7-2 in one of the final Southern Athletic Association matches of the season on Saturday.
It was nearly a clean sweep down the singles line as Daniel Cohen won 6-3, 6-1 at No. 2 singles, Cameron Burkes won 6-0, 2-6, 10-7 at No. 3 singles, Sam Wasko triumphed 6-3, 6-0 at No.4 singles, Zack Raymond won 6-4, 6-1 at No. 5 singles, and Tony Molinet won 8-3 at No. 6 singles.
Cohen and Wasko combined for an 8-6 victory at No. 2 doubles as the Petrels nearly took all three doubles matches as well. Â
