Oglethorpe University

Josh Bagriansky joined Oglethorpe’s athletics staff in fall 2026 as assistant men’s soccer coach. He comes to Oglethorpe with over a decade of experience coaching locally in the Atlanta area.

Prior to Oglethorpe

An Atlanta native, Bagriansky played locally at Druid Hills High School and Inter Atlanta FC, before studying journalism at Indiana University. Bagriansky returned to Inter to coach in 2018, and currently heads up the U13 and U19 MLS Next Academy teams. During his time at Inter, he has previously served as a director for the club's Boys Academy, NAL and MLS Next programs. Additionally, Bagriansky coached at his alma mater, Druid Hills High School, from 2018 to 2022, leading the program to multiple region titles and a state semifinal appearance in 2019.

Personal

Bagriansky currently resides in his hometown of Decatur, Georgia, with his wife Kate, two boys Liam and Holden, and their dog, Julie.
