The women's basketball team lost to Maryville College on Tuesday night in the finale of the 2010 Stormy Petrel Classic, 74-44. The Scots raced out to a 42-15 halftime lead to coast to the victory on Pinholster Court.

Katie Weeks led all scorers with 20 points to go along with 9 rebounds. Freshman Ky'Laine Rogers tallied 7 points and 9 boards in the loss.

The Petrels only made 5 of 23 shots in the first half to seal their fate. Oglethorpe regrouped in the second half in which Maryville only outscored the Petrels 32-29.

Oglethorpe is now 2-7 on the season and will wrap up non-conference play at LaGrange on December 28 at 6:00 p.m.
