Box Score

ATLANTA- The second home game in a row for Oglethorpe's women's basketball team ended in defeat against the LeTourneau University YellowJackets with a final score of 86-60.

The Stormy Petrels were led by senior Taylor Smith who scored 13 points and freshman Carley Bell with 11 points.

Although the game started out looking great for the Petrels, with Amy Vazquez making a 3-pointer less than 10 seconds into the game, the YellowJackets quickly started their run that kept them ahead for the rest of the game.

The Stormy Petrels travel right around the corner for their next game as they face the Emory University Eagles on Wednesday, Dec 1, at 6 p.m. They will be back home in Dorough Field House again on Saturday, Dec. 4, as they go against the Vikings of Berry College at 5 p.m. It will be the Southern Athletic Association opener.
