The men's lacrosse team at Oglethorpe had another disappointing loss this Sunday in Conway, Arkansas, against Hendrix College. The final score was 11-6.
Carsen Van Note scored the first goal for the team unassisted toward the beginning of the second quarter, bring the score to 4-1. Richard Bedgood IV assisted by Israel Pendleton-Moore scored the second goal right after Van Note. In the third quarter, Pendleton-Moore skillfully scored unassisted, bringing the score up to 7-3.
During the fourth quarter, the Stormy Petrels saw the most success with three goals. They finished the game successfully with two consecutive scores. Jack Brand unassisted scored first in this quarter. Then with less than four minutes left in the game, Bedgood IV scored twice in a row, first assisted by Pendleton-Moore yet again, and then by Jazz Washington.
This places the team's total losses for the season at seven and the total wins at five. The next home game will start off the month of April on April 2 against Centre College.
