ATLANTA – After taking five of the six singles points in straight sets, the Oglethorpe men's tennis team improved to 7-1 with a 7-2 victory over Hendrix Saturday afternoon at Downing Howell Tennis Courts. The win also helped the Stormy Petrels stay perfect in the Southern Athletic Association at 2-0.
Daniel Cohen, Vincent Claussen, Kirkman Kiker, Zoe Raymond and Cameron Burkes combined to drop only seven games in singles action. Raymond had a perfect score of 6-0, 6-0 while Cohen only dropped one game in the second set. Both stayed perfect in singles action this season with records of 8-0 and 6-0, respectively.
Claussen and Kiker also earned another win with an 8-3 victory at No. 2 doubles, as did Raymond and Burkes, who won 8-0 at No. 3 doubles.

- Cohen's 8-0 record features four wins at No. 2 singles and four wins at No. 3 singles.
- Raymond's 6-0 record features three wins at No. 6 singles and three wins across Nos. 3-5.
