SEWANEE, Tenn.– The Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels battled through a tough weekend of Southern Athletic Association play, with both the men's and women's falling to Centre and Sewanee this weekend.
Men's Results:
- Oglethorpe suffered a 9-0 loss at Centre on Saturday then an 8-1 defeat at No.15 Sewanee on Sunday.
- Daniel Cohen and Sam Wasko recorded an 8-5 victory in No. 2 doubles against Sewanee.
- Cohen and Wasko moved to a 1-1 record for doubles this season.
- Cohen now holds a 7-7 record for doubles overall.
- Wasko now holds a 6-8 record for doubles overall.
Women's Results:
- Oglethorpe fell 8-1 at Centre on Saturday then 8-1 at No. 10 Sewanee on Sunday.
- Izzy Forster recorded a 6-4, 6-4 victory in No. 1 singles against Centre.
- Taylor Glover won 6-2, 7-5 in No. 6 singles against Sewanee.
- Forster now holds a 9-4 overall singles record.
- Glover won her fourth singles match of the season so far.

Oglethorpe will play at Hendrix on Saturday, April 22, at 11 a.m. Then, in their final match of the regular season, Oglethorpe will face Rhodes on Sunday, April 23, at 11 a.m. The SAA Championship will begin Friday, April 28, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
