ATLANTA – After a long battle, the Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels fell 7-2 to the Birmingham Southern Panthers on senior day. This was Oglethorpe's final home match of the regular season.

The match started out rough for the Petrels, but by the end Zack Raymond recorded a 6-3, 6-3 victory in No. 6 singles shortly after Jefferson Page won 4-6, 7-5, 10-7 in a tense match at No. 5 singles.

Before the match began, the Petrels celebrated senior day. The men's team will graduate one senior this year: Plato Constantinides. He was recognized and received a framed letter alongside women's tennis seniors Sydney Dattilo, Alyssa Merletti, and Alexis Salgueiro.
