Game Recap: Women's Soccer | | Story by Nyle Farooqui

Women’s soccer earns point against Meredith

ATLANTA—On Sunday afternoon, the Oglethorpe women's soccer program battled Meredith to a 0-0 draw at Oglethorpe University. It was a good back-and-forth match between the two sides in their first-ever encounter.

Despite the scoreline, there were some positive takeaways. Harlow Cregar had a great game for the Stormy Petrels. The sophomore was often driving up the attack and setting up chances for others. Unfortunately, none of the chances turned into goals for the women in white and yellow.

The team was defensively resolute to ensure that Meredith could not convert on any of their opportunities. Taylor Whiteside was a staple in defense as the senior made many crucial tackles. Haley Lowell was once again one of the best players on the field for Oglethorpe. The senior made a total of 10 crucial saves.
