SEWANEE, Tenn.—On Friday night, three goals from Sewanee resulted in a 3-0 loss for the Oglethorpe women's soccer program. All three goals came in the first half.
In the third minute, Brianna Fee scored the opening goal to give Sewanee the lead. Just 10 minutes later, Maggie O'Hare successfully converted a penalty kick to extend the lead. Right before the whistle blew for halftime, Olivia Fee scored Sewanee's third goal of the night.
After being down 3-0 in the first half, it would never be easy for Rob King's side to find their way back and turn the game around in their fortune.
