LAGRANGE, Ga.—A pair of 9-0 victories, one over Huntingdon and another over LaGrange, highlighted a perfect start to the season for the Oglethorpe men's tennis team.
Figge Pernfors, Noah George and Tony Molinet matched the perfect start of the Stormy Petrels with perfect starts of their own in singles action. Pernfors won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 singles against Huntingdon then 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4 singles against LaGrange. George won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3 singles then 6-1, 6-0 at No. 5 singles. Molinet won 6-4, 6-0 and 6-0, 6-0 at Nos. 5 and 6.
George and Pernfors lead the Stormy Petrels in the doubles action as well with a combined 2-0 effort playing at No. 2 doubles against Huntingdon and No. 1 doubles against LaGrange.

Oglethorpe will be home for a rescheduled match against Southern Athletic Association foe Berry in the teams' conference opener. The match is set for Wednesday, March 13, at 2 p.m. at home on Downing Howell Tennis Courts.
