LAGRANGE, Ga.—With the third straight win to start the season, the Oglethorpe women's tennis team made swift and easy work of LaGrange Saturday afternoon, defeating the Panthers 9-0.
The Stormy Petrels combined to win 96 of the 99 games played. Needless to say, it was a clean sweep all the way down the lineup card all in straight sets. Izzy Forster and Brianna Ali both improved to 3-0 at the top of the lineup in spots No. 1 and No. 2, both winning without dropping a game. Maddie Nolen and Adeline Horton also improved to 3-0 on the year after posting the same scores at No. 4 and No. 6.

- Forster and Ali improved to a team-best 2-0 record at doubles after winning 8-0 at No. 1 doubles.
- Alexis Salgueiro and Nolen won 8-0 at No. 2 doubles.
- Salgueiro stayed perfect in singles with her second win at No. 3, winning 6-0, 6-0.
- The win for Oglethorpe marked a 3-0 start after the team beat Agnes Scott 8-1 in the opener and Huntingdon 8-1 last week. The latter match saw Oglethorpe prevail in four singles super tiebreaks after splitting the first two sets.

Oglethorpe will be home for a rescheduled match against Southern Athletic Association foe Berry in the teams' conference opener. The match is set for Wednesday, March 13, at 2 p.m. at home on Downing Howell Tennis Courts.
