ATLANTA – The Stormy Petrels played the final game in Emory's Sonny Carter Invitational, recording a 3-3 draw against the host No. 20 Eagles after a tremendous comeback that saw Oglethorpe erase a 3-0 deficit.
Adrian Levy led with two goals while Daniel Amah scored one. Goalkeeper AJ Evans made six saves.
Emory dominated a majority of the first half, scoring all three of their goals in just 22 minutes. Levy made Oglethorpe's first goal late in the period, unassisted. The Petrels fought for another goal, but the Eagles insistently played keepaway.
After the halftime break, Levy scored again, and in the final minute, Amah found an equalizer with an assist from Owen VanMarter. With no time remaining, the game ended in a 3-3 draw.
