LaGRANGE, Ga.—The Oglethorpe women's soccer program picked up a 2-1 win at LaGrange Tuesday night in a nonconference road game.
Haylei Hasan scored from the penalty spot to give LaGrange the lead in the 11th minute. However, Oglethorpe responded in the 29th minute. Mackenzie Jones calmly tucked the ball into the back of the net. It was the senior's fourth goal of the season.
Lauryn Oliver gave the Stormy Petrels the lead in the 48th minute after she fired a powerful strike past LaGrange goalkeeper Anna Wright. It was the graduate student's first goal of the season.
It was a great win on the road for Rob King's side as they put an end to their four-game winless streak.
