Petrels battle Roanoke in 0-0 draw

ATLANTA-The Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels battled Roanoke to a 0-0 draw on Friday night in the John P. Salamone Invitational.

It was a cagey first half with both Oglethorpe and Roanoke battling it out. However, the Petrels took control of the match in the second half with many chances created. They were unlucky to not find the back of the net with the chances that they created.

Jon Akin's side now has three points in three matches played so far this season. The team's draw against Roanoke was the third straight draw of the season.
