ATLANTA – Oglethorpe's men's and women's track & field, women's basketball, and men's basketball teams are diving into Southern Athletic Association championships this weekend.

Track & Field

• Indoor Championships: Friday, Feb. 28 – Saturday, March 1, in Danville, Kentucky.
• Ashton Deriso has been named athlete of the week twice so far, and has broken multiple PRs.
• Riley Michaud, Evan Thomas, Elliott Baker and Hannah Rhodes combined for a new school record in the distance medley relay.
• Thomas and Rhodes have both earned athlete of the week nods.
• Additional men's leaders: Zachary Benner, Ugohnofure Awarieta, Tristan Arey and Beck James.
• Additional women's leaders: Kirsten Wright, Hailey Wright, Aubrey Guyden and Keri Edwards.

Women's Basketball

• Semifinals: Friday, Feb. 28, at 5 p.m. ET at No. 1 seed Millsaps.
• Finals: Millsaps will host the two remaining teams on Saturday, March 1, at 5 p.m. ET.
• Oglethorpe beat Rhodes 79-69 in the quarterfinals.
• Keimarya Rivera was named to the All-SAA first team. She recently reached 1,000 career points and was the only player in the league to rank in the top four for scoring, rebounding and field goal percentage.
• Sheraton Foster was named an All-SAA honorable mention. She ranked top 10 in the league for scoring at 12.4 points per game, and was also among the SAA's top players for assists (3.2/game, seventh) and steals (2.1/game, fourth).
• Briley Elder is the team's leader in 3-pointers, hitting 51 so far.
• Karina Lopez was named to the SAA All-Sportsmanship team.

Men's Basketball

• Semifinals: Friday, Feb. 28, at 5 p.m. at No. 1 seed Berry.
• Finals: Berry will host the two remaining teams on Saturday, March 1, at 5 p.m.
• Oglethorpe defeated Rhodes 73-70 in the quarterfinals.
• Malachi Dooley and Perry Robinson were named to the All-SAA first team.
• Dylan Pumpian received All-SAA Honorable Mention.
• Robinson recently hit 1,000 career points and has the top field goal percentage in the conference. He also ranks second for rebounding and third for scoring.
• Dooley ranks fourth in the SAA for scoring and fifth for field goal percentage.
• Joe Helenbrook was named to the SAA All-Sportsmanship team.
