ATLANTA – The Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels bounced back from last weekend with a 7-0 win against the LaGrange Panthers on Saturday, moving to a 1-1 record for the season so far.
Grace Elsevier and Apsana Rai combined for a quick 6-0 win. Maddie Nolen and Taylor Glover finished right on the heels of the first win with a 6-1 win of their own.
Rai also recorded a clean win in #4 singles while Nolen recorded a 6-0, 6-2 win and Elsevier triumphed 6-2, 6-2. Glover dealt with more of a challenge from her opponent, but walked away with a 7-5, 6-0 win.

- Oglethorpe remains undefeated against LaGrange, with a 7-0 record going back to 2011.

The Stormy Petrels will embark on their annual spring break trip beginning Sunday, March 9. Oglethorpe will face North Central College on Sunday, Swarthmore on Monday, Minnesota Duluth and Northwestern (MN) on Tuesday, then Southeastern and Otterbein on Wednesday. The next home game will be Saturday, March 22, at 11 a.m. against Agnes Scott.
