SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Oglethorpe's cross country teams continued their strong season Saturday at the NCAA Division III Preview, highlighted by top-10 finishes from both teams and great finishes from the Petrels' upperclassmen leaders.
Men's Highlights
Senior Zachary Benner led the way with a new personal best of 24:54.0, earning a top-eight finish in the 8k. Graduate student Ashton Deriso followed close behind, placing in the top 15 with a time of 25:16.3. Several other Petrels made their 8k collegiate debut, including:

Senior Hannah Rhodes, last year's Southern Athletic Association athlete of the week, turned in a huge personal best in the 6k, clocking 24:10.8 to place 49th overall. Freshman Kirsten Rose impressed in her first collegiate 6k, finishing 65th in 25:03.0. Other notable Petrels included:
