Athletics Impact Campaigns
Oglethorpe's Athletics Impact Campaigns assist the Stormy Petrel Booster Club in creating focused outlets for support toward priority areas identified by the Director of Athletics and Office of Advancement.
One of the biggest areas of impact on the student-athlete experience is the facilities where they spend most of their time. Today, many of our beloved facilities need to be modernized, enhanced, and made more welcoming for students, alumni, and fans. Top-level facilities not only serve as powerful recruiting tools, helping to attract talented students and coaches, but raise the standard for our level of competitiveness and success.
From improvements to shared student-athlete spaces like locker rooms, strength and conditioning areas, and a student-athlete lounge, to enhancements that impact our fans and athletes alike such as LED lighting, enhanced infrastructure, improved sound systems, public restrooms, and accessibility modifications to facilities – there is tremendous opportunity to impact the entire student body and campus community.
To keep pace with our conference peers, we must commit to enhancing our facilities. You can level the playing field and play a pivotal role in providing our student-athletes with facilities that can help them thrive.
