WALESKA, Ga. - The Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels fell 18-6 in a nonconference game against the Reinhardt Eagles on Saturday.
Anna Ramsden and Anna Conza led with two goals each. Conza also had four ground balls and won four draw controls. Ellis Mitchum had three caused turnovers.
Reinhardt scored the first two goals of the game before Adesewa Atiba put the Petrels on the board. Both teams scored again in the first period, with Ramsden's goal coming at the very end of the quarter. The first period ended with a save by Madelyn Garner, and the Eagles led 3-2.
Reinhardt then managed to score four goals in the first half of the second period, while Ramsden and Conza added two goals for the Petrels. By halftime, Oglethorpe was down 8-4.
The Eagles dominated the third quarter, preventing scoring until Mitchum swiped a goal in the last 30 seconds. Conza scored once in the fourth quarter, but Reinhardt kept scoring until the end for an 18-6 result.

- This was only the third game against Reinhardt in program history, with previous games in 2023 and 2024.
- Mitchum and Jersey Cuni both made an assist.

The Stormy Petrels will have a string of home games over the next few weeks, beginning with University of Wisconsin - River Falls on Wednesday, March 18, at 3 p.m. Then, the Southern Athletic Association opener against Rhodes will be on Saturday, March 21, at 1 p.m. Oglethorpe will also host DePauw March 26 and Centre April 4.
