Photography Policy
Photography from general admission areas is open to all fans and members of the media. However, access beyond general admission areas requires advanced request and approval through Oglethorpe’s sports communication office.
Areas beyond general admission include:
- Sideline (floor) and endline, plus end of bench areas, for events at Dorough Field House
- Inside fence at Oglethorpe’s turf/track & field
- Inside fence behind home plate and areas near entrance to dugouts at Hermance Stadium
- Inside fences at Downing Howell Tennis Courts
For access to these areas, requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Requesters should email Daniel Manget, Oglethorpe assistant director of athletics for sports communication, at dmanget@oglethorpe.edu and include the event(s) they wish to shoot along with their reason for the request – i.e. representing a media outlet, institution, etc.
Space is limited in all of these areas. Therefore, access is not guaranteed and may not be approved until close to the event’s date. Oglethorpe staff, external media and individuals representing opposing teams in official capacity will be given first priority.
On senior days, Oglethorpe staff will provide an official photographer and will make the "ceremony" photos publicly available free of charge shortly after the event.
