Oglethorpe University

Elli Malancea joined Oglethorpe’s athletics staff as assistant cross country/track & field coach in 2024 after a four-year career running for the Stormy Petrels.

In her time competing for Oglethorpe, Malancea recorded multiple top-10 finishes in program history for cross-country. She also contributed to the school record for the 4x800m relay in track & field.

Malancea earned multiple all-conference honors across her collegiate career.
