Oglethorpe University

Kat Frisby joined Oglethorpe's athletics staff as assistant women's basketball coach prior to the 2012-13 season. Frisby has served an integral role on staff with a major emphasis in player development, and serves as head of scouting. She also organizes all operational aspects of the program. 

The Stormy Petrels have greatly improved while Frisby has been on staff, going from a 5-21 record in her first year with the team, to three NCAA tournament appearances, three SAA regular-season championships and two SAA tournament championships.

Prior to Oglethorpe

Frisby served as assistant women's basketball coach at Rhodes College from 2008 to 2012.

A 2008 graduate of the University of Alabama, Frisby has a bachelor's degree in education and majored in exercise and sport science with concentrations in business, fitness and coaching.
