Biography

Emily is currently an accounting major and plays guard for the Stormy Petrel women's basketball team. Prior to Oglethorpe, Emily was a two-sport athlete (softball and basketball) at Collins Hill High School in Suwanee, Ga. During her collegiate career, Emily was awarded the team Offensive Player of the Year for the 2014-15 season and was the recipitant of the Mack Burgess Award four outstanding effort and attitude in 2015. Her 92.0 percent free-throw rate earned her the NCAA Division III free-throw shooting championship in 2014-15, marking the first time member of the women's basketball program finished first in a national Division III statistical category. She also earned All-SAA Second Team for her efforts in 2014-15.
