Oglethorpe University

Ana Garcia returned to Oglethorpe in 2024 as an assistant golf coach.

Garcia was a heavily involved Petrel, contributing to organizations around campus while playing on Oglethorpe’s women’s golf team for four years culminating in her graduation from Oglethorpe in 2020.

Garcia currently holds some of the best individual finishes in program history, finishing T5th at the 2018 Southern Athletic Association Championships to help Oglethorpe take runner-up. Garcia was named to the All-SAA first team that same year.

Prior to Oglethorpe

Garcia previously served as a membership coordinator for Elevanta, a professional association management firm. She has also had experience in the golf industry, previously serving Troon as a guest services attendant and completing an internship with the American Junior Golf Association in 2021. Garcia was also a graduate assistant coach for Berry College’s golf teams from 2021 to 2023.

Garcia graduated from Oglethorpe in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management. She earned her MBA with a concentration in Health Care administration from Berry in 2023.
