Oglethorpe University

Brooke Buchmueller joined Oglethorpe's athletics staff as assistant athletic trainer prior to the 2022-23 academic year, bringing with her experience in professional, collegiate, and club athletics.

Prior to Oglethorpe

Buchmueller spent two years as a graduate assistant at McKendree University, where she earned her master’s degree in health administration.

Before McKendree, Buchmueller graduated from University of Alabama in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in athletic training. While at Alabama, Buchmueller worked as a student athletic trainer, and in 2019 interned with the professional men’s lacrosse team Atlanta Blaze.

Buchmueller is a licensed athletic trainer by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, and she is an American Red Cross certified emergency responder. She also is licensed in Georgia.

Buchmueller is originally from St. Louis, Missouri, and played lacrosse in high school.
