Ally Moir led the team with two goals, and goalie Asia Williams made 11 saves.

The first quarter saw the Petrels keeping on par with the Mountain Lions, until Young Harris made a buzzer beating goal to end the quarter at 4-3. The second quarter saw the Petrels tie it up at 5-5, until the Mountain Lions pulled ahead once again.

After halftime, Young Harris kept Oglethorpe from scoring for the remainder of the game. As the Petrels fought hard to catch back up, the Mountain Lions continued to score until ending the game at 23-5.
