Petrels crush Hendrix to continue perfect season

ATLANTA - The Oglethorpe women's lacrosse team remained undefeated after taking down the Hendrix College Warriors 23-9 on Saturday.

Sophomores led the way in this game, with Ally Moir and Kaitlynn Alford scoring six goals each, as Sydney Trammell marked a personal season high with four goals and four assists.

The Stormy Petrels took the lead early in the first quarter, and never let go. The Petrels were able to hit double digits by the end of the quarter, and only allowed Hendrix to make three goals. Oglethorpe continued to hold the upper hand against the Warriors and more than doubled their score, heading into halftime 15-7.

The third quarter saw the Petrels pull even further ahead, and continued to dominate through the fourth. Oglethorpe ended the game lengths ahead of Hendrix, at 23-9. This is the team's sixth straight win for the season so far.
