ATLANTA—Oglethorpe celebrated its senior class prior to its Southern Athletic Association matchup against Birmingham Southern then handed the visiting Panthers a decisive 20-8 win Saturday afternoon. The senior class provided much of the offensive effort, with senior Kendall White scoring four goals while adding one assist, Sissy De Armas scoring one and assisting one, and Patricia Batchelor scoring one.

Birmingham Southern scored next to make it 2-1, but it was all Stormy Petrels from there. Four Petrels were part of a stretch of seven unanswered goals to send Oglethorpe into a 9-1 lead, and the half ended even more lopsided than that at 14-4.
Alford led the offensive effort with five goals while Ally Moir matched White with four goals.
