DANVILLE, Ky. - In one of their final games of the regular season, the Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels fell 16-3 after an uphill battle with the Centre Colonels.  

Richard Bedgood IV recorded two goals, while Israel Pendleton-Moore recorded one. Goalkeeper Addison Irwin made 16 saves. 

The first half of the game was difficult for Oglethorpe, with the Colonels gaining a 10-goal lead by halftime. The Petrels found a burst of energy in the third quarter as Bedgood scored twice to oppose Centre's three goals.  

The Colonels spearheaded the fourth quarter as well, but Pendleton-Moore was able to score rather early in the period. However, the Stormy Petrels were unable to find more scoring opportunities and suffered a 16-3 loss. 

Game Notes

• Jazz Washington and Carsen Van Note each recorded one assist.  
• Bedgood and Ty Freeman each scooped three ground balls. 
• Jeremiah James and Collin Sides each caused two turnovers.  
• Van Note won four faceoffs.

The Stormy Petrels will play their final game of the regular season on Sunday, April 16, at 1 p.m. at Berry. The first round of the Southern Athletic Association tournament is set for Saturday, April 22.
