DANVILLE, Ky. - In one of their final games of the regular season, the Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels fell 16-3 after an uphill battle with the Centre Colonels. Â
Richard Bedgood IV recorded two goals, while Israel Pendleton-Moore recorded one. Goalkeeper Addison Irwin made 16 saves.Â
The first half of the game was difficult for Oglethorpe, with the Colonels gaining a 10-goal lead by halftime. The Petrels found a burst of energy in the third quarter as Bedgood scored twice to oppose Centre's three goals. Â
The Colonels spearheaded the fourth quarter as well, but Pendleton-Moore was able to score rather early in the period. However, the Stormy Petrels were unable to find more scoring opportunities and suffered a 16-3 loss.Â
