ATLANTA -Two second-half goals from Transylvania resulted in a 2-0 loss for the Oglethorpe women's soccer team Sunday afternoon. It was the first loss of the season for the Stormy Petrels.
The first half was difficult for the Stormy Petrels as they had to engage in a physical battle with Transylvania. The second half was slightly better as Head Coach Rob King's side played more on the front foot. However, it was not enough as Audrey Rawls scored in the 57th minute to give Transylvania the lead, and Lilia Steen would score from a penalty kick in the 86th minute to double the lead.
It was not the result the team wanted after a great performance against Agnes Scott on Friday.
