DEMOREST, Ga. – Mackenzie Jones scored the game-tying goal in the 14th minute after the Oglethorpe women's soccer team found itself in an early hole, and the Stormy Petrels came away with a 1-1 draw against Roanoke Friday night on the campus of Piedmont. Goalkeeper Haley Lowell had a phenomenal game with 12 saves.
Harlow Cregar had the assist on the equalizer that came just two and a half minutes after Roanoke went into the early lead. The goal and assist were the first such of the season for both Jones and Cregar.
