ATLANTA- The Oglethorpe men's soccer program grabbed a point against Hendrix in a 0-0 draw Sunday on senior day. It was the Petrels' final home match of the regular season.
Both sides battled it out in the first half. In the second half, Oglethorpe gained momentum. The team thought that they had the potential game-winning goal from Aaron Ibe in the 73rd minute. However, the goal was later ruled as offside. It was a dominant performance from the Petrels as they outshot Hendrix 18-2 in shots and 4-1 in shots on target. Despite the team's play in the final third, they were not able to find the back of the net.
