ROME, Ga.- On Saturday afternoon, the Oglethorpe women's soccer program finished its regular season with a 4-0 loss to the Berry Vikings.
In a matchup that had postseason implications on the line, Oglethorpe conceded in the 22nd minute after a goal from Berry's Teresa Rodriguez. In the second half, Berry scored three more goals. Rodriguez scored again in the 46th minute, and then goals from Kelsie Crosier and Hannah Henn followed in the 49th and 54th minutes.

Oglethorpe will be the six seed in the Southern Athletic Association tournament, set to begin on Saturday, Nov. 2. The opening round will see the Stormy Petrels return the trip to Berry, the three seed, and the winner of that match will continue the tournament at top-seeded Sewanee for the semifinals and potential final the following weekend.
