Bowens scored again later in the period, and Trammell provided another goal to give the Petrels a 7-4 lead at halftime.
Moir and DeAnna Hyde teamed up for the first two goals of the third quarter, which received a quick response from Hendrix. Then, the Petrels made two back-to-back goals again, this time from Trammell and Fuentes, the latter of whom was assisted by Amanda Cason. The Warriors scored once more in the period, but Oglethorpe headed into the final quarter in high spirits.
