ATLANTA—Oglethorpe senior Ally Moir notched her school-record 200th career goal with six tallies on the day, but the Stormy Petrels lost a close game to Centre, 19-17, Saturday early afternoon in a Southern Athletic Association contest.
Moir entered the game with 198 career goals. She scored one in the first quarter when Oglethorpe erased a 4-0 deficit with an 8-0 run to take an 8-4 lead. Her second and career No. 200 goal was a go-ahead goal in the second quarter to make it 10-9, then she scored twice in each quarter of the second half to round out her scoring on the day.
Both Moir goals in the third quarter broke a tie.
Oglethorpe led 14-13 but a 4-0 run from Centre, the current SAA leader at 3-0 in the league, put the Colonels into the lead for good.

- Behind Moir, Anna Ramsden scored four goals, and Makenna Bowens and Kaitlynn Alford both scored three.
- Bowens and Alford both earned six draw controls to lead the team.
- Goalkeeper Tori Perez made 16 saves.
- Amber Fuentes and Perez both picked up four groundballs. Oglethorpe had 19 as a team.
- Oglethorpe went 13-for-18 on clears but went 1-for-4 on extra-man opportunities and 1-for-6 on free position shots.
- Moir is Oglethorpe's career scoring leader by a longshot as Alford currently ranks No. 2 with 121 career goals.

Oglethorpe has two midweek games next week, both at home and both nonconference. First up is Huntingdon on Tuesday. This will be followed by Southwestern on Thursday. These two games are among three remaining home games for the Stormy Petrels this regular season.
