MEMPHIS—Ally Moir scored four goals and Sydney Trammell and Anna Ramsden followed with two apiece, but the Oglethorpe women's lacrosse team fell 19-10 at Rhodes Saturday afternoon.
Rhodes scored the first three goals and, despite a surge from the Stormy Petrels toward the end of the first quarter that cut the lead to 4-3, the Lynx then followed with eight unanswered goals to put the game out of reach midway through the second period.
Oglethorpe managed to outscore Rhodes 5-3 in the third quarter to cut it down to 15-10, but Rhodes once again quickly went back to a steady lead with a 4-0 fourth quarter.
Makenna Bowens and Kaitlynn Alford rounded out Oglethorpe's scoring column with a goal apiece behind Moir, Trammell and Ramsden.

- Goalie Tori Perez posted a carer high 22 saves.
- Amber Fuentes led Oglethorpe with five of the team's 20 groundballs. Anna Conza had four.
- The loss snapped a two-game winning streak for the Petrels, who moved to 10-5 (1-3 Southern Athletic Association) on the season.
