OAKWOOD, Ga. – Led by Riley Michaud and Hannah Rhodes with top-20 finishes, the Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels recorded a smashing finish at the UNG Invitational, just their second meet of the year.
As a team, the Petrels took fourth place with an average time of 21:13. They faced nine opponents compared to seven on the men's side, with added runners from Brenau and Agnes Scott. The Petrels were up against several NCAA Division II schools including Clark Atlanta, Morehouse and Columbus State.
Individual Highlights
- Michaud placed 16th with a time of 20:21.
- Rhodes finished right behind Michaud.
- Evelyn Parral placed 25th with a time of 21:21.
- Sybella Bertolini finished 30th with a time of 21:46.
- Elliott Baker took 35th with a time of 21:57.
- In all, two Petrels were in the top 20 and three were in the top 25.
