GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels were lapsed by the Guilford Quakers 23-6 Saturday afternoon on the road.
Israel Pendleton-Moore led with three goals, followed by Liam Miller with two. Jax Cuni had four caused turnovers, and Xay Duax made 23 saves.
Pendleton-Moore was able to counter Guilford's first goal, but the Quakers quickly dominated the first period. Pendleton-Moore also made the only goal of the second period. By halftime, the Quakers had racked up a 12-2 lead.
Pendleton-Moore, Miller and Matthew Colbey found a bit of good luck in the third and fourth quarters, but it was not enough. Guilford triumphed 23-6.

- This was Oglethorpe's first-ever game against Guilford.
- Alexander Martelo-Reyes made his first appearance as a goalkeeper and had one save.
- Cuni, Martelo-Reyes and Dwayne Taylor had three ground balls.
