ATLANTA – The Oglethorpe women's lacrosse team ended its regular season with a bang, defeating the Hendrix Warriors 21-2 on Saturday.
Makenna Bowens led with eight goals and three groundballs. Savannah Freeman followed with a career high of five goals plus four draw controls. Anna Conza also won four draw controls, and Camryn Fowler made two assists. Â
Anna Ramsden quickly scored the first two goals of the game, followed by more goals from Fowler and Bowens. After amassing a six-point lead, Hendrix finally responded with two goals back-to-back. These would be the Warriors' only goals of the game.
Conza and Bowens added three more goals at the top of the second quarter. Freeman and Mariah Butler rounded out the first half of the game with an 11-2 lead. Oglethorpe continued to dominate in the third and fourth quarters, ending the regular season with a win.
